ISAPI Extension and GetServerVariable: Can't obtain REMOTE_USER

Hi all.

Using Windows CE 5.0 here.

I'm having trouble obtaining REMOTE_USER with GetServerVariable. I get a 1
byte string with the value <null>.

Is this a known shortcoming with the Microsoft HTTPD?

Seems i can get most other server variables listed here
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa450423.aspx), but AUTH_USER and
REMOTE_USER both return the null string.

Any help would be appreciated.

i should add i'm using NTLM authentication on the user and it is not an
anonymous user.
